Same here. I think I just crave day time more than anything. Living in the cold is something that I've partially come to embrace so I am willing to just find something that works here as well so long as I can have some daylight to fuel the fire.

Not to mention the fact that when we lose the light we usually lose the warmth and trying to operate a camera in gloves is never the easiest!

In winter there's just less light to chase. The grey can start to wear on you.

Indeed! Sometimes I feel something can still be said about winter on certain days. But it’s hard to deny the reality too!

Great post, I agree with you about winter, and although you said you went off on a wild tangent, it still came back to light. Or lack of it. Seasonal light? I love the long winter shadows, and I feel the winter light in Australia is so different to those in Europe.
